Our unique coating technology allows us to secure large amounts of super absorbent polymer onto a yarn. Thus, we are able to achieve high absorption capacities using smaller size, high yield yarns. In fact, our core yarns have up to twice the yield (yards per lb.) when compared to other products used in the market.

Absorption Capacity

Our Dry Core Series products have an absorption capacity of 45X+ while the HY Series have an absorption capacity of 40X+.

Longer Continuous Cable Production

Our high yield results in more meters per package compared to other products with similar total absorption capacity. Thus, longer cable production runs are possible resulting in increased efficiency.

Clean Running

Unique polymer adhesion technology results in a product with minimal dusting or powdering. This improves cable quality, diminishes machine downtime for cleaning and reduces machine wear caused by abrasive SAP polymers.

Fil–Tec’s “next generation” binders are designed to perform on the most demanding, highest speed production lines. Our water swellable binders comprise a high tenacity, multi–filament yarn with a dispersion of super absorbent polymer that is adhered to the fiber.
