Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) announced the names of the companies that will be invited to the tender on mainline steel pipe production.


Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) announced the companies to be invited to the mainline steel pipes production tender. In its release, TANAP announced that, following the final financial agreement signed on 17th of December, evaluation procedures under the “Preliminary Qualification Tender” started on July 19, 2013 to identify the mainline steel pipe suppliers have been completed and the list of companies to be invited for the tender has been finalized. Release lists the companies that will be invited to the tender for mainline steel pipe production which forms a crucial part in implementation of the Project planned to transport the Caspian natural gas to Europe via Turkey as follows: “Baosteel Europe, Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi – Noksel Çelik Boru Sanayi – Erciyas Çelik Boru Sanayi, Corinth Pipeworks, Daewoo International Corporation, Emek Boru Makina Sanayi, Essar Steel India, Man Industries India, Marubeni Itochu Tubulars Europe, Metal One Corporation, Metinvest International, Ratnamani Metals & Tubes (for 48″ mainline steel pipes only), Salzgitter Mannesmann International, STS Tubular Group (for 48″ mainline steel pipes only), Sumitomo Corporation, Tosçelik Profil ve Sac Endüstri, Trade House, Ümran Çelik Boru Sanayi, and Welspun Trading.”
