Fastening elements are essential components in various industries. They have to meet steadily increasing requirements with regard to precision and quality during the production of internal threads. Different base materials, whether cold or hot formed, various tolerances as well as varying operating conditions and thread types pose a real challenge on selecting the right threading tool.
Being a specialist in this field, BASS offers a comprehensive range of new and innovative solutions for the machining of internal threads at the WIRE 2016 in hall 15, stand H15.
Faster: Thanks to newly developed coatings and geometries, the cutting speed for thread cutting and forming can be increased. Therefore, the process time in the machining of components can be reduced which in turn lowers production costs.
Bigger: The roll tap DURAMAX that is also available for larger dimensions starting from a nominal diameter of 24 mm, is perfectly suitable for process reliable and chipless manufacturing. Continuous product developments allowed BASS to succeed in enlarging the scope of applications up to a dimension of M64x6.
Stronger: Besides the classical use of machine and roll taps in the reversing tapping process, BASS also offers solutions for the run-over tapping process. With its AMGB V for the fully automatic tapping of nuts, BASS offers a tripartite system – combining three tools into one. The precisely manufactured cartridge connects the tap nip with the bent shank. This ensures that the shank part and cutting tool can still be used in case of high torque and breakage as a result of wear. With this unit consisting of the AMGB V, the cartridge and the shank, you can flexibly respond to individual processing needs in terms of form and execution.
We are looking forward to your visit at our exhibition stand.
