AREVA strengthens power supply in United Arab Emirates

AREVA T&D will deliver a 400/132 kV GIS substation, which will strengthen power supply for the fast-growing Northern Emirates region. It will be located in Ajman, where population is expected to jump from 250,000 in 2010 to 2.2 million in 2030, according to estimates from the UAE Ministry of Economy.

The project is scheduled to be completed by 2012.
