Poland-based Boryszew Group has announced the signing of a letter of intent for the sale of Rurexpol, its subsidiary specializing in pipe production. The company ceased operations earlier this year as part of a liquidation process. The planned transaction is valued at PLN 71.5 million (USD 19.5 million) and is expected to close by October 15 following a comprehensive due diligence review by the prospective buyer.
The sale package includes real estate, machinery, production equipment, certifications, licenses, permits, intellectual property rights, spare parts, and technical documentation related to Rurexpol’s production lines.
Once completed, the transaction will definitively rule out any future reactivation of Rurexpol’s operations at the Częstochowa steelworks, where it previously operated as a pipe production division.
