Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions presents DuoVane®, a new series of rotary vane vacuum pumps. These optimized successors to the Pascal and DuoLine series are designed for worldwide use and are characterized by reliability and efficiency.
The DuoVane vacuum pumps offer a pumping speed of 6 to 22 m³/h. Thanks to an IE2 energy efficiency class motor, they enable smooth operation globally while contributing to a more pleasant work environment with their low noise emissions. Additionally, they feature an improved inlet safety valve, which provides increased safety in the event of application errors.
Robust and Versatile Applications
With enhanced water vapor tolerance, DuoVane vacuum pumps are particularly durable and suited to various applications, including freeze-drying, sterilization, and HVAC systems. They are also ideal for generating fore-vacuum for turbomolecular vacuum pumps, such as in battery production or particle accelerators. Analytical instruments like electron microscopes and mass spectrometers also benefit from these high-performance rotary vane vacuum pumps.
Progress Through Further Development
“Even for proven products, a successor eventually arrives on the market,” explains Marcel Merkardt, Product Manager for rotary vane vacuum pumps at Pfeiffer. To ensure seamless integration into existing systems, the new pumps have the same dimensions as their predecessors. “The DuoVane vacuum pumps combine the advantages of our Pascal and DuoLine series, so our customers enjoy the usual high vacuum performance with low energy consumption.”
