EUROPIPE: Carsten Schmickler is the new Managing Director

Carsten Schmickler took over as Managing Director of EUROPIPE and responsibility for Sales & Finance at the beginning of the year. Schmickler has many years of experience in the steel and steel processing industry. Together with Roger Menneking, he will utilise the opportunities presented by the global energy transition for EUROPIPE as part of the management team. 

The history of EUROPIPE, a global manufacturer of large-diameter tubes based in Mülheim an der Ruhr (Germany), which was founded in 1991, and its shareholders goes back to the 17th century. The shareholders of EUROPIPE GmbH are Salzgitter Mannesmann GmbH and AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke, each with a 50 % stake.
