Since 1 July, the experienced manager Aurélie Alemany has been leading the Group with its 3,400 employees in her role as the new CEO of Enercity. The energy expert thus joins the company's Executive Board, which includes Prof Dr Marc Hansmann (Finance and Infrastructure) and Dirk Schulte (Human Resources).
„One of enercity's most important tasks is to drive forward the energy transition in Germany – particularly in Lower Saxony and the Hannover region – and to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions", said Alemany on taking office. „We will continue to do this with full vigour and take advantage of the opportunities offered by a very dynamic market. The digitalisation of the energy world is a decisive factor in this. I am convinced that we can only achieve a successful energy transition together with our customers and the dedicated employees at enercity. I am very much looking forward to realising our goals together with the enercity team.“
The 49-year-old process engineering graduate, who has been at home in the chemical and energy sector for many years, can look back on 13 years of experience in the energy sector.
