The history of the Eirich Group is closely linked with the strategic expansion of its international presence. This year, the Eirich Group celebrated three milestones in Asia: 50 years of presence in Japan, 30 years in China, and 25 years in India.
New Production Facility in India
In parallel, a new production site was opened in India to further strengthen local manufacturing and service. Eirich India, with this newly opened production site, is capable of supplying overseas markets with parts or complete machines.
"The Asian region is very important to us. Proximity to customers helps us continually find new applications and promote innovations tailored to specific customer groups. This has enabled us to develop reliable and efficient products and successfully place them in the market," explains Stephan Eirich, CEO of the Eirich Group.
Previous generations of Eirich management, particularly Paul and Walter Eirich, laid the early foundations for internationalization. The first foreign branch in North America was established in the late 1950s. Today, Eirich is represented on several continents, including Japan, Brazil, China, India, France, South Africa, Italy, the CIS states, Australia, and Thailand.
Customer Proximity and Innovation
Stephan Eirich emphasizes the strategic importance of the Asian markets for the company and points to the outstanding performance of over 400 employees in these regions. These regions are central buyers of industrial equipment and play a crucial role in Eirich's global strategy. The "Local for local" approach ensures that local leadership has enough autonomy to act flexibly and close to customers.
Adapting products to regional needs and integrating into the global supply chain, especially through the new site in India, enhances Eirich's competitiveness.
Together Towards a Successful Future
In addition to international successes, the company is also celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the invention of the Eirich mixer this year. The 160-year company anniversary in Germany was also celebrated, highlighting both the tradition and the future orientation of the company. "With our extensive experience over the last 160 years, our ongoing willingness to explore new avenues, and our cross-border cooperation, we will shape a successful future together. The people who work for and with us play a central role in this," concludes Ralf Rohmann, Managing Partner.
