At the Brescia site, Harsco Environmental has expanded its fleet of KAMAG SPC slag bucket transporters with another vehicle. Harsco Environmental, a specialist in waste disposal services in steel mills, has been using KAMAG SPC (SlagPotCarrier) at a steel producer's plant in Brescia, Italy, since 2013 to transport hot slag from the blast furnace to tipping pits.
The experiences at the Brescia site and at other Harsco Environmental sites in Europe have shown that KAMAG SPC meets the requirements. The environmental service provider is also impressed by the quality of the KAMAG scrap basket transporters, which the company also operates in Brescia. For this reason, Harsco Environmental has now procured the fourth slag bucket transporter from TII KAMAG through the Italian TII KAMAG dealer, Fratelli Ursini.
“We appreciate the easy handling and reliability of the KAMAG transporters. What also speaks for TII KAMAG is that the manufacturer has always adapted its transport solutions to our special requirements at the Brescia location,” explains Stefano Balducci, Asset and Maintenance Manager at Harsco Environmental.
Another advantage for TII KAMAG is the possibility of remote maintenance.
“A requirement that we made from the start. “Remote diagnosis guarantees our service technicians a precise error analysis if necessary and, in conjunction with remote maintenance, the shortest possible downtime,” reports Daniele Rizi, workshop manager at Harsco Environmental.
