Hyundai Steel and SeAH Steel Join Forces for Eco-Friendly Pipes

Collaboration: Hyundai Steel and SeAH Steel are working together to manufacture carbon-reduced steel plates and pipes for offshore wind power infrastructures.

Production Process: Hyundai Steel produces steel plates with a yield strength of 355 MPa, which SeAH Steel then processes into pipes.

Environmental Impact: The steel plates are made using direct reduced iron and scrap, reducing carbon emissions by 12 percent compared to 2021.
