With an increased focus on the core business, the AICHELIN Group is consolidating its group of companies. It has signed a contract to sell its German subsidiary EMA Indutec GmbH, which was previously unique in the group's portfolio as an expert in inductive heating and hardening systems as well as frequency converters, to the internationally renowned ParkOhio group of companies. It was agreed not to disclose the sales price. The transaction was successfully closed at the end of February.
This step is part of the AICHELIN Group's strategy to strengthen the focus on the core business. The proceeds from the sale will be invested in future projects as well as in research and development.
“The sale of EMA Indutec is a well-considered, strategically sensible step into the future from which all parties involved benefit. After a successful year and well-filled order books, this consolidation enables us to further strengthen our core competencies and promote our future growth," explains Christian Grosspointner, CEO of the AICHELIN Group.
With the sale of EMA Indutec, the AICHELIN Group has the opportunity to concentrate on its primary business areas and strengthen its innovative strength and market position. With this strategic decision, the AICHELIN Group is sending a clear signal for sustainable growth and long-term success.
