Global Pipe Company, a subsidiary of Saudi steel pipe manufacturer TenarisSaudiSteelPipes (formerly Saudi Steel Pipe Co.), has secured a significant contract from Aramco. Under the agreement, the company will supply longitudinally submerged arc welded (LSAW) pipes worth SAR 910 million (approximately $242.66 million).
These pipes are essential for Aramco’s ambitious carbon capture and storage project in Jubail, which aims to remove nine million tons of CO₂ from the atmosphere annually by 2027. The delivery of the pipes is scheduled over a period of up to 15 months.
The financial impact of this contract is expected to be reflected in the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026.
