Paul Meijering Metalen has commissioned a new HSG R1R tube laser, further expanding its tube and profile processing capabilities. The investment is designed to increase efficiency, precision and flexibility for both serial production and customised projects.
The HSG R1R is suitable for cutting round tubes and box sections with diameters from 8 mm to 120 mm and processing lengths of up to 6,000 mm. Equipped with a 1.5 kW Raycus laser source, an HSG autofocus cutting head and intelligent nesting software, the system supports both 2D and 3D cutting while optimising material utilisation.
Additional features such as automatic bundle loading, a voltage stabiliser and a dust-free cutting system improve productivity and operational reliability, particularly in high-volume production.
According to the company, the investment strengthens its position as a flexible supplier of stainless steel tubes and profiles, enabling customers to benefit from shorter lead times, consistent cutting quality and greater manufacturing efficiency.
