The path to climate-friendly production of quality steel with Pure Steel+ from Saarstahl and Dillinger is not only convincing because of its strategy and goals, but also because of its design appearance. Pure Steel+ has now been awarded the German Design Award as winner in the category - Excellent Communications Design - Corporate Identity. The prize will be awarded on January 26th in Frankfurt to SHS - Stahl-Holding-Saar with its subsidiaries Dillinger and Saarstahl, and the agency HDW Neue Kommunikation.
German Design Award
Across all industries, the German Design Award from the German Design Council is one of the most prestigious awards in the design landscape. In a nomination process, only those products and communication design services that demonstrably stand out due to their design quality are invited to take part in the competition by expert committees. In June, SHS and HDW had already been awarded the German Brand Award twice for Pure Steel+: as “Best of Best” in the “Brand Innovation of the Year” area for the best strategy for consistent brand management and as “Winner” in the area of brand design.
“The renewed award for Pure Steel+, this time for the innovative design, is further confirmation of our work at the right time. This gives us tailwind for the next big steps on the way to new innovations and high-quality 'green' steel. We would like to thank the HDW agency for the good cooperation and all employees who are working together to advance the Pure Steel+ project,” explains the chairman of the SHS management Stefan Rauber.
