SEUTHE GmbH, headquartered in Hemer and part of the Austrian ASMAG Group, recently showcased its newly developed hybrid tube welding system at a successful international in-house exhibition. The event attracted numerous industry experts from around the world, who took the opportunity to experience the Sauerland-based machine builder’s latest innovation up close.
The presented system enables the production not only of longitudinally welded tubes but also of a wide variety of profile shapes. It is now on the verge of being delivered to a renowned European customer who already operates several SEUTHE systems. With this new technology, SEUTHE is setting new standards for efficient and future-oriented manufacturing processes in the tube and profile industry.
The introduction of the new technology coincided with a change in leadership: In February 2025, Hartwig Hiestermann took over as Managing Director. The experienced mechanical engineer has returned to SEUTHE GmbH after 19 years, bringing with him extensive industry expertise. Under his leadership, the company will further accelerate its technological development.
In addition to its commitment to innovation, SEUTHE places great emphasis on fostering young talent. In cooperation with local schools, the company offers students valuable insights into the world of mechanical engineering. The aim is to spark interest in vocational training and secure a steady influx of skilled professionals.
With its successful in-house exhibition, the launch of the new hybrid tube welding system, and a strengthened leadership team, SEUTHE is positioning itself for the future. The combination of technological progress and targeted talent development lays the foundation for long-term success in the decades to come.
