Seal of quality for Hüttenes-Albertus

The trade association for raw materials and the chemical industry (BG RCI) has awarded HA GmbH the “Safe with System” seal of quality. The company is proud to have reached this important milestone in improving occupational safety. The initiative to develop an occupational safety management system was started years ago. 

Audits at locations 

After a detailed audit that extended from March to the end of August 2023, the foundry chemistry specialist was also able to successfully complete the main assessment at the Düsseldorf and Hanover locations. The topics of occupational safety, security and health were the focus of the audit. In addition to checking the necessary documents, the assessment also included numerous interviews with employees and management in order to check the operational implementation of prescribed regulations and instructions. Another focus of the audit was the observation of work processes and the insight into the organization of responsibility and tasks. 

The employees' strong awareness of safety and health as well as the open approach to questions and ambiguities were particularly emphasized. The HA Group declares that it will continue to adhere to this approach in the future in order to ensure the safety and health of all employees. The results of the report would make it clear that the ongoing commitment of all stakeholders and employees is having an impact and leading to improvements in occupational health and safety at HA. 

The “Seal of Quality – Safe with System” is a management system for safety and health at work. It is based on the National Guide to Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. The assessment by the BG RCI is an independent review of the effectiveness of the company's AMS and is carried out voluntarily at the request of the company. It is carried out by qualified AMS assessors according to a quality-assured process and defined minimum standards. One focus of the assessment is on the occupational health and safety-related actions of employees and managers. 

After a successful assessment, the company is awarded the “Safe with System” seal of quality.
