Welspun Tubular LLC, the US subsidiary of India’s Welspun Corporation, has announced a $150 million investment to expand its production capabilities in Little Rock, Arkansas. The project includes the installation of a new longitudinal submerged arc welding (LSAW) mill and a coating line, designed to support key industries such as oil and gas, carbon capture, LNG export, and hydrogen pipelines.
Once completed, the facility will make Welspun Tubular the only US manufacturer capable of producing line pipes ranging from six to 56 inches in diameter. This broad size range positions the company to meet diverse industry requirements while also generating new employment opportunities.
The expansion follows a previous investment announced in October 2024, when Welspun Tubular committed $100 million to upgrade its HFIW (High-Frequency Induction Welding) mill in Little Rock. That project, scheduled for completion in early 2026, is expected to create around 175 jobs in the region.
