Ever greater numbers of users are looking for efficient solutions for incorporating connection elements into the ends of tubes. They want alternatives to time-consuming soldering and welding processes. To form geometries offer a clear economic advantage for most requirements.
These can be produced using absolutely secure functions and processes. Especially formed geometries with O-rings play a particularly important role in many products. From time to time also Geometries are required which are equipped with a flange for fixing to other components later.
From soldering to a secure forming process
Forms of this type are ideally created by means of a machine solution which enables axial forming as well as rolling. Our transfluid® combination units guide the flanges automatically into the axial forming process as required and secure these precisely. The process can also generate a "preliminary form", which may be required for subsequent rolling processing.
The rolling process produces the final geometry, and creates perfect surfaces for optimal use. Tolerances are furthermore comparable to those generated in a machining process.
Since extreme precision is required, in particular during the rolling process, the rolling head can be freely set along all directional axes. Our combination machines enable secure and effective processing, even with large tube diameters.
For smaller section sizes, our units operate using particularly energy efficient and extremely precise servomotors. And of course, all types of material can be reliably processed.
