Highlights from all sectors of the electric mobility industry

The largest German Electric Vehicle Congress was first held in 2009 and is now moving to a place of longstanding and proud tradition - the Haus der Technik in Essen will be organising the 4th German Electric Vehicle Congress on 14th and 15th January 2012 in cooperation with nova-Institute. After three successful years, the leading German congress for innovations, concepts and new prospects in the electric mobility sector has once again chosen to focus on the dominant trends in the market, politics, research and development for the 2012 edition. The established international appeal of the German Electric Vehicle Congress makes it a showcase for electric mobility developments in Germany and draws in new ideas from around the world.

As in previous years, approximately 500 participants are expected at this forum for sharing experiences. Highlights from sectors such as vehicle manufacturing (OEMs, prototypes, converters), motor vehicle suppliers, distribution, infrastructure (grids and charging concepts), energy storage and other components, raw materials, sustainability, market forecasting and strategy are accompanied this year by a focus on utility vehicles as trailblazers for electric mobility. An extensive exhibition and sponsoring opportunities complete the programme.
