Pioneers of sustainability

How “green” is the wire, cable, tube and tube processing industry? The new initiative of Messe Düsseldorf is called ecoMetals and provides a forum for the drivers of environmentally friendly products, productions and processes.

Trade fair visitors will encounter innovative strategies of responsibility here and conduct inspiring discussions with experts at eye level. You can recognise the excellent innovations by the ecoMetals feature: Products, processes and technologies in harmony with nature. The tour guides of the ecoMetalsTrails will lead you to the selected stands.

Exhibitor comments about Tube

"After cancellation of the last Tube we are glad to have the show in June next year. The Tube is an excellent occasion to meet our customers personally and is also appreciated by our customers. We are therefore looking forward to this event."

PROTaction – Staying safe together

All restrictions due to Covid-19 at trade fairs have been lifted

PROTaction

Measures for mitigating the spread of the coronavirus have been eased further:

3G rule suspended: Entrants to Germany no longer have to prove that they have been vaccinated, recovered or tested.

Entry with other vaccinations possible: All WHO-listed vaccines are recognised.

There are no longer high-risk areas.

We however recommend that you only enter the premises if you are vaccinated, have recovered from a previous infection or have tested negative, and that you wear a medical quality face mask.

• Feel safe: We voluntarily adhere to hygienic measures to prevent infection.

• Experience business as usual: No daily limit on numbers of visitors, no limited access, and vaccinations and tests are no longer mandatory.

• Take a deep breath: The large trade fair premises at Düsseldorf have enough space for everyone. A fully automated system with 60,000 sampling points and highly efficient particle filters, known as HEPA air filters, provides the best air quality possible. The entire Düsseldorf Fairgrounds and Congress Centre will be fitted with 3,000 HEPA filters. EUR 1.4 million were invested and 80% of that sum was paid by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection as part of a funding programme. These high-efficiency filters make for highest air quality at Messe Düsseldorf trade fair halls as well as reducing the heating and cooling requirements.

Reduce emissions and energy costs?

The #decarbXpo provides solutions.

Logo decarbXpo
The megatrend of climate protection and rising energy prices concern the cable and wire industry just as much as all other manufacturing companies. And yet, until now, there has been no event where the industry could gather information about technologies and services to reduce emissions and costs. This is now changing:

Messe Düsseldorf is expanding the established energy storage trade fair ENERGY STORAGE into the Expo for Decarbonized Industries (decarbXpo for short). From 20 to 22 September, numerous suppliers will showcase their solutions, from products and consulting services to climate-friendly energy production. A special highlight for the steel and metal industry is the ecoMetals Day - the trade congress on green transformation. It stands for the imparting of concretely implementable application knowledge on the topics: Green Gas/Green Energy, Green Steel/Green Metals and Green Automation/Circular Economy.

Arriving comfortably and enjoying your stay.
