Tube - 15 to 19 April 2024

NEW: wire & Tube pre-opening – from 9.30 a.m. at your stand!

The early bird gets the worm – and this is especially true at the leading global trade fair wire & Tube from 15 to 19 April 2024.

NEW: be sure to make use of our pre-opening and welcome your most important customers at your stand from as early as 9.30 a.m. each day of the trade fair. You can thereby enjoy the calm before the crowd storms in at the official opening time, e.g. to welcome your special visitors as early birds.

Our tip: inform your most important contacts in advance about the earlier entry time. And most importantly: please staff your stand from 9.30 a.m.

All times at a glance:

  • Official opening times for visitors:
    Mon. to Thurs. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. & Fri. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Pre-opening for your most important customer contacts:
Mon. to Fri. from 9.30 a.m.
  • Opening times for exhibitors:
    Mon. to Thurs. 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. & Fri. 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We look forward to a fantastic trade fair in Düsseldorf and wish you plenty of success here.

Too good to throw away! Donate your leftovers to Tafel Düsseldorf e.V.

If you have food in good condition or other items from this list left over in the evening or at the end of the trade fair and want to dispose of them, donate them instead!

Contact our cooperation partner, Tafel Düsseldorf e.V., and arrange a pick-up date. Subject to sufficient capacity at the Tafel for collection and storage, their volunteers will be happy to collect the goods from your stand. They then make them available to people affected by poverty in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. We take care of the logistics in consultation with the Tafel. All you have to do is make a call and register your goods.

We want our fairs to be as sustainable as possible and avoid waste, especially of food. Please help us by not throwing away leftovers! However, passing on leftovers from open catering is not allowed for hygiene reasons.

Please touch?! Yes! Visitors to the Kunstpalast are invited to run their fingers along the sculptures of Tony Cragg and feel their contours. The works of the British-German sculptor are made of a wide variety of materials. Prepare for a very special encounter, as the coldness of stone meets the warmth of wood and the smoothness of glass meets the hardness of steel!

Be sure to set aside an evening for the Tonhalle: The sound to be heard on 15 April is that of a carved rock, a heart-filled stone – Brahms spent a long time carving out his first piano concerto. At the piano will be a hidden champion of the pianist scene: Stephen Hough, who was allowed to play the Queen Mum’s golden grand piano in the Royal Albert Hall! A few days later, on 19 April, Grigory Sokolov will conjure from the 88 keys the gentle, delicate tones that enrapture us in the works of Bach, Chopin and Schumann.

Since the 1980s, their popularity has grown by leaps and bounds. Sneakers: the basketball and hip-hop scene took them from the court to the street, then into the mainstream and finally to the runways of the world’s luxury labels. The exhibition ‘Sneaker’ celebrates these shoes as cult objects, wowing visitors with true collector’s items, design classics and social media icons.
