Using both cold- and hot-forming methods, Tecninox and Petrol Raccord, the two manufacturing units at Raccortubi Group, manufacture seamless and welded fittings from 1/2” to 56”, almost without wall thickness limitations, in austenitic stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, 6Mo, nickel alloys and titanium. In addition, an increasing part of production is dedicated to special/customised fittings, including flow and barred tees, “Y” pieces, laterals, manifolds and headers.
Whilst most of the production is dedicated to the Oil & Gas industry, Petrol Raccord also supplies alloy steel butt weld fittings for power plants (P5, P9, P11, P22, P91 and P92) as a result of its long-standing experience in the Power sector.
Pipes & Tubes in standard and special stainless steels
Raccortubi Group stocks in Italy, Brazil, Dubai, Singapore and the UK consist of pipes, tubes, fittings and flanges in a wide range of diameters and thicknesses, in austenitic stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, superaustenitics, nickel alloys and titanium. They also include urea grade pipes and fittings, heat exchanger tubes (cut-to-size), instrumentation tubing and high temperature materials.
Raccortubi has added Titanium Gr 2 in stock, being now able to offer a wide portfolio of specific and custom-made titanium components, both from production when it comes to fittings, and from stock in the case of pipes, complemented by other components such as flanges, forgings, bars, tube sheets and heat exchanger tubes.
Benefitting from the exclusive partnership with Mannesmann Stainless Tubes, Raccortubi supplies ex-stock tubes, which are also used as raw material for butt weld fitting internal manufacturing. Raccortubi provides 316L UG (UNS31603) and 310 mod. (UNS31050) piping material – from ½” to 14” nominal diameter, destined for urea production and fertilizer plants, in accordance with Snamprogetti (Saipem), Stamicarbon and Urea Casale technical specifications.
Carbon & alloy steel butt weld fittings for power plants
Given its long-standing expertise in the industry, Petrol Raccord manufactures and supplies a wide range of carbon and alloy steel (P5, P9, P11, P22, P91 and P92) piping material destined for power plants.
Since 1949, Raccortubi Group has been manufacturing, stocking and supplying piping materials for critical applications, such as chemical and petrochemical plants, power plants, shipyards, fertilizer plants and offshore platforms through its global distribution network. It provides pipes, tubes, butt weld fittings and flanges in austenitic stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, 6Mo, nickel alloys and titanium from stocks at distribution points in Italy, Brazil, Dubai, Singapore and the United Kingdom, being constantly replenished by the internal manufacturing of butt weld fittings at the two production mills Tecninox and Petrol Raccord.
