Universal testing machine Inspekt H-L 600kN with horizontal test area

The universal testing machine inspekt H-L 600kN was developed as a horizontal material testing system for testing products with high strengths and measurement lengths, such as chains, cables, wires or finished products with extensive installation lengths. The horizontal universal testing machine is able to accommodate specimens with lengths of up to 6000mm with a test travel of 500mm.
The maximum force of 600kN is applied by means of an electromotor via a central loading spindle. The insertion and removal of the test specimens is simplified due to the test space being freely accessible from the front (C shaped). Motor-driven, height-adjustable support tables increase user comfort and automatic safety door interlocking increases the safety of the test personnel. The expansion of the samples up to breaking point can be determined on a contactless basis, by means of an integrated video expansion measurement device.
Control of the system and evaluation of the measurement results is executed by the universal material testing software LabMaster.

Portal hardness testing device with ball caster table

Rockwell hardness testing at large and heavy elements

The testing portal is used for the hardness testing based on the Rockwell method HRC according to DIN EN ISO 6508 at large and heavy elements. The machine frame is built as a portal with a clear width of 1360mm and a clear height of 1000mm above the ball caster table, so that components up to a maximum width of about 1200mm and a maximum height of about 900mm can be crossed and tested. The minimal height of the specimen is 100mm.

The preparation of the testing point has to be carried out beforehand. The search unit is positioned manually at the desired point of measurement. After that the measurements can be executed with a hand lever.

The fixed lower frame of the construction is used as ball caster table for the specimens und carries the rails for the lengthwise displaceable portal. The machine itself consists of a solid portal that ranges in a guiding system. Making use of a manual bracing during the measurement the stability is enhanced. The adjustment of the longitudinal direction is carried out manually.

The vertically adjustable hardness probe is provided at the portal and affixed to a heavy-duty carrier. The delivery of the electrical supply occurs by an energy chain, which is placed in the area of a rail. Additional media are not necessary for the operation of the machine.

The size ratio without cut-off is about 2500mm x 2500mm.
