Stainless Steel Tubes
We manufacture stainless steel tubes in various grades, as well as different dimensions and finishes.
Our longitudinally welded and calibrated stainless steel portfolio covers outer diameters from 3.00 to 127.00 mm, with wall thicknesses from 0.20 to 3.00 mm. We supply our TIG-welded or laser-welded tubes in straight manufacturing and fixed lengths or also as circular tubes (with an outer diameter of up to 25.00 mm). The tubes are manufactured in bright-annealed or unannealed form, with or without weld smoothing, with a ground or unground finish, in line with your requirements and demands.
Take advantage, too, of our particular expertise in the field of redrawn tubes. With outer diameters of 0.50 to 48.30 mm and wall thicknesses between 0.05 and 2.30 mm, we are a reliable partner when it comes to tight tolerances and high quality standards.
We can also produce circular tubes in a redrawn design up to an outer diameter of 16.00 mm.
Since it was founded at its current location in Hellenthal in 1827, Schoeller has been family-owned. However, as early as 1550 an ancestor, Joris Schoeller, had acquired initial shares in a royal ironworks in Gemünd.
Schoeller stands for innovation.
Innovation has always been the hallmark of Schoeller's entrepreneurial activities. In the mid-nineteenth century, Schoeller was a pioneer in carrying out automatic wire nail and rivet production on mainland Europe. Almost a hundred years later, in 1959, the plant in Hellenthal commenced operation of tube welding lines for manufacturing longitudinally welded stainless steel tubes in what was known as the tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding process.
The TIG process became known in the USA in 1936, but was not introduced into Germany until after the Second World War, with Schoeller again being at the forefront of this innovation. In 1965, Schoeller produced TIG-welded tubes made of austenitic Cr-Ni steels with a weld seam factor of 1.0. This put the weld seam on a par with the basic material and Schoeller in the forefront again as a pioneer.
Innovation based on tradition.
Nowadays, too, Schoeller is an established and expert manufacturer and partner in the business of longitudinally welded stainless steel tubes. Initiative and customer orientation are the guiding themes in developing our plant technology and our product portfolio.
Schoeller – a strong brand.
Know-how, expertise and experience – always with a sure eye on the future and with a "zero-error philosophy" in terms of quality standards, coupled with concentration of expertise in one location, the Hellenthal site. This winning formula makes Schoeller a down-to-earth and technologically strong brand.
