RIPINOX®, the rust-resistant, cold-formed ripped bar, contributes essentially to the longevity of reinforced concrete structures such as bridges, docks and sewage treatment plants as well as cladding panels and parapets. Trouble-free RIPINOX® processing is possible on account of its excellent formability and weldability.
Range of application of RIPINOX® The range of application is marked by its outstanding resistance to corrosion under atmospheric conditions even if condensation water and chlorides (e.g. in the vicinity of the sea) occur. Special materials can also be applied in case of increased corrosion resistance requirements (crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and similar phenomena).
Rust-resistant concrete steels are suitable for welding and can thus be linked with each other but also with unalloyed steel. This is why they can be processed without any problem. Furthermore, they are characterised by an excellent formability so that they could also be applied where extensive deformation is to be expected.
Here are a few examples of its practical application: | Reinforcement of filigree building components | Projecting reinforcements | Inclusion of wide joints in reinforcement | Reinforcement of particularly stressed building components | Reinforcement as connection for anchor systems
Taking advantage from ideas developed in dialogue.
Brainstorming, defining goals, developing ideas and concrete solutions, finding alloys and other relevant product properties based on constructive suggestions – this is what you can expect from us as your partner. In our works at Hagen, every single step is tailored to your needs. In addition to our raw material stock, this means flexible delivery service as well as special deliveries from the smallest coil up to 1,500 kg formers. This requires the highest quality standards, which are applied from the very beginning when selecting our suppliers and checking the initial wire rod. This way you get exactly what you need.
Our select raw material stock of wire rod and predrawn wires in intermediate sizes and various types of alloys guarantees independence, flexibility and quickness.
Based on the expertise acquired over the over 80 years of existence of Hagener Feinstahl, we have developed a sensitive antenna for our clients wishes and individual requirements. This profound knowledge of the trade and the know-how in the production of corrosion-, acid- and heat-resistant alloys for wire enable us to offer a portfolio of services that exceeds the normal standard by far.
