MGF-200 Die Saver

Our MGF is a semiautomatic die grinding and polishing machine that has a powerful air spindle to cut dies using the meeting point method or bumping to the next size. Its angle setting gages control die geometry very accurately. It can be used in small volume die shops on its own or combined with the HDF or Die Flex MA for medium production needs.

Die Flex MA

Die Quip's Die Flex MA is the next generation of die finishing machinery that has the flexibility to work either the angle or bearing. The machine is perfect for die shops that produce a small number of dies per size were automation takes to long to set up. Combined with a manual or semiautomatic grinding machine the Die Flex MA will increase the productivity of any die shop.

WP-100 Wire Polisher

The Die Flex WP-100 wire polishing machine is designed to easily work diamond, PCD, ceramic or carbide dies to a mirror finish. It can work the angle or bearing by rotating the die table with a simple to use, tool free lever clamp. The wire is held between two fully adjustable clamps which makes centering the wire fast and easy. The dies are held in metric or inch collets that centers the die with the hold down cap. The work guard uses a CE rated safety switch and circuit to keep the operator safe but not impede the work area or setup times.

About us

Company details

Tom Maxwell founded Die Quip in 1974 as an equipment builder to make finishing dies faster and easier for an in-house die shop. Mr. Maxwell worked in a die shop for 20 years and saw the need for equipment that produced dies faster and more accurately, which is why he started the company. His two sons Tom and Scott Maxwell are currently running the business since his retirement.

All of our equipment is designed using sound machine designs, time tested work holding methods and built on a rigid platform to consistently make heavy cuts. We are not a die shop that designed equipment for internal use for production of new dies. This makes our philosophy in building tungsten carbide draw die working equipment different than our competition. We have the widest diameter working range of any company in the industry and have products for the wire, bar and tube drawing industries.
