Company portrait
The company was founded 20 years ago by 4 ambitious Abony citizens who took responsibility for their town. From the very beginning, the clear objective - besides employing people and creating jobs - was to manufacture and distribute flanges.
The market knowledge motivated the founders to serve not only standard sized flanges but also individual sizes and special material qualities. In the course of time it turned out that the own market share can be increased not only with precise and high quality work, but also by offering the partners shorter delivery times than usual.
The efficiency and success of the company was spurred by continuous investments and the introduction of computer-controlled CNC machines. The integration of machining capabilities into the production, such as CNC flame and plasma cutters, profile rollers, blast media, or the delivery of orders with its own vehicles made SGN-STEEL Kft. the market leader in Hungary.
Parallel to the Hungarian results, the company also entered the European market. The successful existence of the company on the Austrian, German, Slovak and Czech markets led to further expansion.
In addition to flanges of various standards and types, other products have meanwhile been added to the manufacturing portfolio, such as pipe systems, equipment flanges, or various manholes, bearing housings and sleeves.
It confirms the quality of the 56 employees working here that the ÉMI-TÜV Süd Kft. has been guaranteeing the conformity of the products manufactured here with its TÜV seal for years.
The goal for the next few years, besides maintaining the quality and precision, is to increase the manufacturing volume for the European market.
